# AddSlot

**When.** At the end of a list of things the user owns (accounts, rules, API keys). One per list. Use `compact` inside a rail or a dense column.

**Never.**
- Never a solid fill or an oxblood border — the edge token is the only border in the system, and the accent never becomes a stroke.
- Never a big "+" as the whole slot; the words are the invitation, the icon (compact only) is 16px and lifted-accent.
- Never marketing copy in the body ("Supercharge your inbox!"). It says what it takes: an address, a server, a password.
- Never in the mail list — a slot is for owned objects, not threads.
